Sutapa is an eminent singer of Rabindra Sangeet of contemporary time. Sutapa completed her formal training from Rabindra Bharati University and presently under mentorship of Srabani Sen for her career in Rabindra Sangeet.
Sutapa also underwent training in Indian Classical Music from Pandit Shantanu Bandopadhay.
